Diana’s 40th bday weekend

Diana, the youngest of us all turns 40! We celebrated at the Moana Surfrider, surfed at sunset, Italian Dinner, Partied at Senor Frogs and crazy dance routines at the Royal Hawaiian. Next day, dawn patrol and then breakfast. Diana had some pampering and Joni was basted. Then late afternoon tea party. FYI...Joni was a HATER! Click here to see more…

Maui for Nana

At 42F it was painfully cold. We arrived with a lot of time to marvel at the full moon that graciously provided the lighting for our drive up Haleakala. At sunrise, unpredictable things happened. Clouds previously grey were slowly backlit by the rising sun. Gentle golden color illuminated the harsh lava rocks. A bright orb rose above the clouds to start a new day.
