Regresan a Nicaragua

Outrigger Outing
On August 1st, the forecast called for Saturday, producing shoulder-slightly overhead (5-7ft) on sets for good exposures. Unfortunately due to a busted eardrum from a windsurfing trick gone awry, one of us could not surf this weekend.
How does a Narbut solve this problem? An outrigger canoe ride surfing the waves off the shores of Waikiki Beach with Diamond Head on one side.
Our canoe captain and his pizza size paddle steered us through the ocean and positioned the canoe amongst surfers. While waiting for the perfect wave, we enjoyed the shoreline view of Waikiki and Diamond Head. When the perfect wave came, we paddled deep and splashed aplenty while we rode the canoe as it surfed to shore alongside surfers.
Our favorite part? Our 40 foot canoe SURFING on decent size wave whiles the unsuspecting tourists, with their foam boards and inflatable mattress, surprised and unable to move to avoid a collision.
